Congratulations to the award-winning high school writers!

This week, we had the state finals for the Poetry Out Loud recitation competition, and the results from the Alabama Writers Forum‘s High School Literary Arts Awards were sent out to teachers. Congratulations all of the high school writers who received recognitions in these two programs! My students did well in both of these programs. We had a state-level second-place winner in Original Poetry in Poetry Out Loud, and at least one recognition in nearly every category of the Writers Forum’s HSLAA. I’m very proud of all of them!
