A Triumph of Arts Education

Today, our piano teacher forwarded this link to a YouTube video of the trailer for “Landfill Harmonic.” Even just this short clip goes to show the power of the arts in transforming people’s lives, even in the worst circumstances. People who say that arts education is expendable or unnecessary could not be more wrong. And it is the students with the greatest needs who can benefit the most from the arts.
