A Deep Southern, Diversified & Re-Imagined Recap of 2022

2022 was a year of changes for this middle-aged writer, editor, and teacher. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 – 2022 school year was hard one, as we all readjusted to relative normalcy. In the spring, a job offer from Huntingdon College came up, and I left BTW Magnet after leading the school’s Creative Writing program for nineteen years.
