Later this month – February 27 and 28, and March 1 – I will be giving a series of presentations on playwright August Wilson at the Pure Life Theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina. The presentations, which will be offered under the heading Three Days of August Wilson, will accompany performances of Wilson’s play Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, which will run from February 20 through March 8.

Pure Life Theatre is a partner of William Peace University. Its stated mission is: “To create, inspire, and sustain a theater company that celebrates ethnically diverse and intergenerational leadership throughout the organization and in the ways we serve the community.”
