#throwbackthursday: Nash and Cobb at the Rosa Parks Museum, 2006

Back in 2006, my students and I were invited to meet Civil Rights icon Diane Nash for a lunchtime talk about her work in the movement. Nash was a founding member of SNCC, who was instrumental in the Nashville’s sit-ins and in continuing the Freedom Rides after the attacks in Birmingham. With her was fellow SNCC activist, Charles E. Cobb, Jr.
