This picture was taken in late 2016, when teachers from Phillips Exeter and I took our students to the law offices of the Equal Justice Initiative and were surprised by an in-person visit from exonoree Anthony Ray Hinton. Since then, Hinton’s book The Sun Does Shine has been released, and it was named as the Oprah’s Book Club selection for summer 2018.
