Next Friday night, September 28, I’m carrying a dozen of my students to the My Favorite Poem reading in Birmingham, where two of them will participate in the reading. The folks in the Creative Writing program at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Birmingham Arts Journal have been so kind in making the event a benefit for our school and in including us.
