The October release of “Closed Ranks,” about the #WhitehurstCase

As the release of Closed Ranks: The Whitehurst Case in Post-Civil Rights Montgomery gets nearer, I’ll be glad to arrange book talks and signings for this fall. To set up an event, please use the contact form on the About page.

Closed Ranks tells the latter-day story of a 1975 police shooting in Montgomery, Alabama and the long controversy that followed, which are now called The Whitehurst Case.
