ICYMI: Lonnie Holley in “The New Yorker”

In case you missed it, The New Yorker featured a nice, long write-up on Alabama musician and artist Lonnie Holley in late October. I actually missed it myself, until one of my students pointed it out to me.

The picture at left was taken when I was talking with Holley and NewSouth Books editor-in-chief Randall Williams before a concert last spring at Montgomery’s Kress on Dexter.
