The Passive Activist 11: Use biodegradable packing material.

This short video was shared on the NPR series Joe’s Big Idea, and it features a new kind of a completely biodegradable packing material that could replace styrofoam, which the video tells us makes up 25% of what is in landfills. At a time when internet commerce is flourishing, having online retailers replacing plastic and styrofoam packing material with this product or one like it could make a difference in what and how much we throw away.
