If he were still living, Tennessee-born R&B legend Bobby “Blue” Bland would turn 88 today. This poster is one that I pulled off of a phone pole thirty or more years ago, in the late 1980s or 1990s, back when the Top Flight Disco (later The Rose Supper Club) was still open on High Street in Montgomery’s Centennial Hill neighborhood.
